Samsung Unveils the Galaxy Ring at MWC Barcelona 2024

With the overarching theme “The Future First,” MWC examines the most significant trends in the mobile industry, showcasing various cutting-edge technologies expected to shape the future, including Artificial Intelligence, 5G and 6G networks, and the Internet of Things (IoT). This year’s expo is anticipated to attract about 100,000 attendees.

Samsung Electronics welcomes visitors to its booths in halls 2 and 3, offering a closer look at its mobile, network, and semiconductor businesses. Specifically, the design of the much-anticipated Galaxy Ring, introduced during the Galaxy Unpacked 2024 in January, is being presented to the public for the first time.

When the doors of MWC opened on February 26, the Galaxy booth – spanning 1,745 square meters at the Fira Gran Via fairgrounds – was packed with attendees eager to try out the Galaxy S24 series and its so-called “AI phones,” and to be among the first to see the design of the Galaxy Ring.

The Galaxy AI area offers attendees an intuitive experience of innovative functions, such as Simultaneous Translation, which allows users to overcome language barriers even while talking on the phone; the Point to Search feature, which enables users to search for an item they see in a photo or video simply by pressing the home button and drawing a circle around the object; Note Assistant, which generates brief summaries of lengthy texts; and Photo Editing, allowing users to edit photos like a professional.

Samsung’s booth also features an area for visitors to experience the camera performance of the Galaxy S24 series. A dark room demonstrates the series’ new Nightography feature and its AI-powered ProVisual Engine, boasting improved stability when taking photos or filming videos.

Amidst great anticipation for the reveal of the Galaxy Ring at MWC 2024, attendees were keen to explore Samsung’s latest product.

With its compact format packed with Samsung’s innovative technologies, the Galaxy Ring offers integrated information based on health data collected during the day and night. Although the Galaxy Ring has not yet been released, it is already captivating audiences with its three color options (black, gold, and silver) and nine different sizes.
